Renovation of Okaigben Primary School

“We Love Governor Obaseki.” Head Mistress declares.

Okaigben Primary School in Ewohimi was one school among others in Esan South that was in shambles. The buildings were in “sorry” state and this resulted in the low population of students in the school. A chat with the headmistress of the school revealed that three blocks of six classrooms have been renovated with the roof, doors and windows replaced with brand new ones. Also a block of toilets have also been constructed for them.

Stressing further, she revealed that she is very happy with the initiative of Governor Godwin Obaseki, through the Edobest initiative, of which she is a beneficiary, as it has trained them with skills in digital technology and devices to teach the students. Also, the school is seeing great improvement in the way the students respond to their studies, unlike what it used to be.
