Governor Godwin Obaseki’s plan to renovate over 200 schools is well underway, as renovation work can be seen already in schools across the state. The renovation work is part of the overall vision of Governor Obaseki to reposition basic education for improved outcome, with the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) leading the charge.The government is committed to providing a conducive learning environment for pupils and convenient work environment for teachers across the state.
In Edo North, renovation work is ongoing and this has made learning very easy for primary school pupils.Renovation work is currently ongoing at Olegauma Primary School, Uzebba, Owan West Local Government Area. The school was founded in the year 1954 and has long been in a dilapidated state but almost now 70 per cent completed. Parents, teachers, as well as pupils are looking forward to the completion of the project so they can start enjoying the benefits.
